Melannie Cormack brings over two decades of accounting and financial leadership to R&C, serving as Partner & Financial Controller. Since 2004, she has owned and operated an accounting firm specializing in full-charge bookkeeping for businesses across Oregon, Washington, and California. Her hands-on experience with clients of varying size, industry, and complexity gives her a deep understanding of the financial mechanics that support strong operations.

Earlier in her career, Melannie served as an Office Manager, where she developed her expertise in business operations, client relations, and internal systems. Over the years, she has grown her firm into a resilient, trusted enterprise. This success reflects her dedication to excellence, consistency, and building meaningful relationships with both clients and team members.

At R&C, Melannie oversees the full spectrum of financial control, including accounting systems, reporting, budgeting, oversight, and compliance. Her role ensures that the company’s financial foundation is as solid and reliable as the services R&C delivers to clients. She approaches each new engagement with curiosity and rigor, diving into the unique story behind every project and tailoring financial insights that help the business grow.

Motivated by a genuine love of learning, Melannie thrives when she is exploring how a client’s business operates. She finds energy in solving puzzles, fine tuning processes, and enabling future growth through clear financial strategy. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family hiking, playing pickleball, and wake surfing, always ready for her next outdoor adventure.
