NEWS/PR: Building Momentum in Ridgefield - New Elementary School Project Approaches the Finish Line
Construction progress at Ridgefield School District’s new elementary school is moving quickly, and the results are becoming visible across the site. What began as a community vision recently supported by voters is now taking shape as a fully realized learning environment that will welcome students when the new school year begins this fall.
From early site work and foundations to the vertical construction now visible across the campus, the project team has made meaningful progress through every phase of construction. Structural framing is complete, exterior siding and window installation are well underway, and interior systems are progressing as the team prepares for the final stages of construction.
The pace of progress reflects the strong collaboration between the district and its project partners, including R&C Management Group, serving as Owner’s Representative, LSW Architects, and general contractor Triplett-Wellman Contractors. Together, the team has kept the project moving efficiently while maintaining the district’s priorities of quality, schedule, and fiscal stewardship.
With construction continuing on schedule and the project tracking under budget, the district remains well positioned to welcome students into the new school when classes begin this fall.
A Community Investment Taking Shape
Ridgefield continues to be one of the fastest growing communities in southwest Washington. As enrollment increases, investments in educational facilities are essential to ensure students have access to safe, modern learning environments.
The new elementary school is designed to support that growth while creating spaces that foster collaboration, creativity, and academic success for generations of Ridgefield students.
Recently, district leaders and project stakeholders gathered on site for a construction tour, offering a firsthand look at the remarkable progress already underway. Walking through the building while walls, classrooms, and learning commons take shape was a powerful reminder of how quickly a community vision can become reality.
Moments like these bring the project to life, allowing educators and community leaders to imagine the first day students walk through the doors.
Over a Decade Serving the Ridgefield Community
For R&C Management Group, this project represents more than construction progress. It reflects a long-standing partnership with the Ridgefield community.
For more than a decade, R&C has worked alongside the Ridgefield School District and City of Ridgefield, WA to help plan, guide, and deliver capital improvement projects that support the district’s mission and the community’s expectations.
Being trusted to help steward this new elementary school is both an honor and a responsibility. Our team is committed to ensuring the project continues moving forward successfully through the final phases of construction and into occupancy.
Looking Ahead
As the project transitions into the final stages of construction, attention is already turning toward finishing work, site improvements, and preparing the building for students and staff.
The excitement surrounding the project continues to grow as the Ridgefield community sees the school take shape day by day. When the doors open this fall, the new elementary school will stand as a testament to what thoughtful planning, strong partnerships, and community support can accomplish.
R&C Management Group is proud to play a role in helping bring this important investment to life and supporting the continued growth of the Ridgefield community.
We look forward to sharing more updates as construction continues and the project approaches completion.
