NEWS/PR: A Community Investment Comes to Life at Chemeketa's Yamhill Valley Campus
This week the R&C team had the privilege of attending the ribbon cutting celebrating the completion of new learning spaces at Chemeketa Community College's Yamhill Valley Campus.
Events like these are a powerful reminder of why public investment in education matters. What begins as conversations with stakeholders and community support ultimately becomes spaces where students learn, grow, and prepare for meaningful careers in their community.
The celebration marked the opening of a new science and health care professions laboratory alongside new Early Childhood Education classrooms, expanding opportunities for students pursuing careers in two of our region's most essential workforce sectors.
A Collaborative Achievement
Successful capital projects are built through strong partnerships, and this project is an excellent example.
Congratulations to Chemeketa Community College, Facet Architects, Woodburn Construction, and the many consultants, trade partners, and College staff whose collaboration transformed this vision into reality. Together, the team delivered learning environments that will serve students and the Yamhill Valley community for generations to come.

These new facilities represent far more than renovated classrooms and laboratories. They provide students with hands-on learning experiences in environments designed to reflect today's workforce while remaining adaptable for tomorrow's educational needs.

As R&C Management Group continues supporting Chemeketa Community College's 2025 Bond Program as Owner’s Representative, it was inspiring to celebrate this first project completion milestone and see firsthand the lasting impact of thoughtful planning and successful project delivery.
