Full Job Description

R&C Management is a locally based firm formed in 2007, specializing in K-12 program and construction project management in the local NW Oregon, SW Washington region.

R&C Management Group, Portland, OR is requesting resumes from experienced Construction Project Managers. Project Managers shall have a Construction Management degree or equivalent, and at least five years experience in large $10 million or greater commercial projects.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project
Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities
As an owner representative oversee all aspects of school construction

Skills

Proven experience as construction project manager
In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
Good knowledge of MS Office
Familiarity with construction/ project management software
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
A team player with leadership abilities
BSc/BA in engineering, building science or relevant field
PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage
